Sr. Human Resources Assistant

Do you have a degree along with at least 2 years of human resources experience?  Our client, a Membership Association in downtown Washington, DC is recruiting for a possible Temp-to-Hire Sr. Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and Human Resources support to the HR team.

Duties will include assisting with recruiting efforts (posting jobs, reviewing resumes, phone screens, set up interviews, prepare offer letters and process background checks); conduct onboarding and offboarding processes, prepare COBRA notices and payments and manage all correspondence and leave related to FMLA.  Other duties will include reconciling and processing insurance invoices, processing worker’s comp claims, and complete OSHA reporting.

Must have an Associates degree (BA/BS Preferred) along with a minimum of 2 years of HR work experience.  Knowledge of principles and practices of human resource is a must as well as proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.  ADP experience is a big plus!
