The Equitable Building, a Class A historic redevelopment apartment building, located in downtown Baltimore, is looking for an energetic and friendly individual to join our leasing team. The person that fills this position will be responsible for leasing apartments at the highest effective rent possible. They will be expected to maintain a strong customer service/satisfaction policy. Previous experience in customer service is required; some leasing experience is a plus. Essential Functions: Greets residents, prospects, applicants, and visitors to the leasing office Answers phones courteously and responds to inquiries promptly Tracks all phone and walk-in traffic by recording it into the system daily; prepare weekly traffic reports Show models and ready vacant apartments to prospective residents, and follow-up with potential residents Assist applicants with application process and gather the supporting documentation Maintain the required closing ratio Maintain marketing materials Manage vacancies by maintaining vacancy report daily, performing all checklist items to prepare vacant unit for move-in Ensuring vacant apartments are ready for move-in by performing minor cleaning of fixtures, floors, windows, etc. Promote resident retention through completion of tasks in Resident Retention Plan; Planning, assisting with, and attending community events for the residents Visit competitor properties quarterly to stay informed of competitor specials Develop creative strategies to market the property to target audience; Place ads for the property on sites designated by the Community and/or Property Manager Perform other duties as assigned If you are interested in this position, please apply directly online at www.WPMjobs.comRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to present a positive professional image in appearance, demeanor, and dress Ability to operate PC and learn new software Ability to communicate effectively Ability to provide exceptional customer service Must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle Outstanding demonstrated sales skills and persuasiveness in overcoming objections Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent NALP Certification preferred Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred If you are interested in this position, please apply directly online at www.WPMjobs.com
