Regional Human Resources Managers are professionals within the Bob's Discount Furniture organization that play a vital role by contributing to and maintaining the Company's core culture, values and vision. They promote company policy and procedures, ensuring the locations they're responsible for are in accordance with Company direction while simultaneously protecting Company assets, limiting liability and serves as the ethical and social conscience as related to business operations. The primary function of this Regional Human Resources Manager is to collaborate and execute on all people functions within the MD and NJ Distribution Centers in particular, in accordance with regional partners and the policies and practices of the Company. Job ResponsibilitiesPromote company policy and procedures ensuring the direction of the assigned distribution centers are in accordance with Company directionCollaborating and executing on all people functions for assigned distribution centers in accordance with Regional partners and the policies and practices of the CompanyResponsible for compliance as it relates to Company policy and practice, state and federal law and any Labor contracts that may be in existencePartner with Talent Acquisition regarding the tactical and strategic planning efforts of recruitment, selection and staffing of assigned locations (MD and NJ Distribution Centers)Plan, collaborate and implement the Company's Human Resource function and performance as related to On boarding/Off-boarding, Talent Management, Performance Management, Labor and Employee Relations ManagementEffectively serve in the role of Business Partner and employee advocateImplement and monitor strategic and tactical business plans in an effort to meet the needs of the business by way of systems and processes that will improve the overall operations and efficiency, in particular management of the HRIS database (Workday) and necessary reports requiring critical analysis Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceProven successful track record as a Human Resource Professional5+ years of experience in a retail and/or distribution center environmentProven ability to use sound judgment and decision makingProven ability to analyze complex problems and recognize root causeProven ability to set clear goals and expectationsProven ability to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriately (bilingual preferred)Proven ability to manage and improve processProven ability to develop talentProven ability to motivate self and othersExcellent time management skillsSome travel required between DC's in MD, NJ and CT Preferred QualificationsBilingual (Spanish/English) - ability to communicate both verbally and in written form Reporting RelationshipsThe Regional Human Resources Manager will report to the Regional Director of Human Resources, and will have responsibility to support the Aberdeen, MD and Carteret, NJ Distribution Centers
