The Global Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results. The Focused Service Brand Marketing team drives and leads marketing strategy for an exciting portfolio of three brands: Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton and Tru by Hilton. The Senior Director, Hampton Global Brand Marketing, will report to the VP, Global Marketing, Focused Service Brands, and contribute to the success of the team by leading marketing strategy development and activities that drive brand health and commercial performance for Hampton by Hilton and the focused service category. What will I be doing?You will work with the VP of Global Marketing, Focused Service Brands and the Hampton brand team to market the Hampton by Hilton brand to consumers. You will apply consumer insights and business findings to develop and refine brand positioning, marketing strategy, and the integrated marketing plan for the brand. On a national and global level, you will execute "above the line" (television, broadcast, radio, print, out of home) and "below the line" (digital display, direct response, mobile, social, influencers) marketing strategies. You will facilitate strategies from creative development and execution to media strategy and planning to drive revenue, grow market share and foster brand love and loyalty with existing target consumers and new/emerging traveler segments. More specifically, you will: Lead all brand positioning, marketing planning and marketing campaign execution in collaboration with other disciplines such as Media Planning and Public Relations.Create a high-impact brand.com presence that drives conversion.Identify core research, analytics, and metrics to develop data-supported consumer insights to build strong creative ad campaigns and to drive the efficiency of marketing executions.Lead the creative Agency of Record (AOR) to ensure a positive relationship and extraordinary marketing execution.Partner with Media Strategy & Planning and media AOR to plan and implement media strategies nationally/globally to achieve brand goals.Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to maximize return on investment.Build positive partnerships/sponsorships to connect core brand initiatives with third parties and reach new audiences in support of integrated global brand strategies.Support Hilton's franchise development marketing efforts as needed.Enable a growing portfolio of hotels to market themselves locally by building and maintaining centrally managed tools and resources aligned with established brand identity guidelines.Cultivate partners up, down, across, and diagonally within the enterprise, with a focus on key partners like owners, category and global brand heads, and Brand Performance Support (BPS). Collaborate closely with key partners such as Enterprise Marketing, Hilton Honors Marketing, global teams in EMEA & APAC, Regional Marketing, Brand Communications, Media Strategy & Planning, Marketing Execution, Marketing Performance and others as required.Develop and effectively handle a significant brand marketing budget, including the ratio of working to non-working dollars, monthly/quarterly forecasting and actuals reconciliation.Recruit and mentor premier talent while building a high-performing, thriving environment to promote a highly engaged, performance-motivated team culture.Lead department-wide initiatives and represent Focused Service Brand Marketing in task forces and interdepartmental efforts as assigned.What are we looking for?We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:Bring to bear consumer insights to power marketing impact and innovationNurture relationships and communicate successfully up, down, diagonally and across the enterprisePartner successfully with the Brand team to achieve shared objectives Collaborate while selling-in ideas that are not always popular Confidently present ideas to senior executive and owner audiencesTo fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Ten (10) years' experience in corporate marketing and/or in advertising/marketing agency rolesSix (6) years of team management experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in PowerPointTravel 15% of the timeIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Marketing or related fieldExperience in dynamic B2C industries such as FMCG, QSR/Fast Casual food retail, or e-CommerceGlobal or cross-cultural experience Knowledge of franchise organizationsWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
