Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides patient care and ensures regulatory compliance in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. Establishes, implements and reviews radiation safety and quality assurance activities in Nuclear Medicine and PET.
Work Schedule:

  • Ensures consistently high quality nuclear medicine and PET images.
  • Supervises area to ensure radiation safety and QA check as required by state and federal regulations. Maintain Nuclear Medicine department in a survey ready state.
  • Coordinates daily operations and workflow of the Nuclear Medicine department. Assigns workload to staff as appropriate.
  • Maintains equipment and places service calls as appropriate.
  • Prepares and administers radio-pharmaceuticals. Scans patients according to department protocol.
  • Supports departmental PI efforts.
  • Interacts with referring physicians, radiologists and department Director to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient department operations.
