ABOUT THE JOB Contribute to the development of business and people in the Customer Support Center.Customer Support Center HR Business Partner works in close cooperation to the Customer Support Center steering team and Customer Support HR matrix. This position will report to the Sr. HRBP. YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include: * HR BP is the strategic competence partner by leading/driving the competence agenda and work through the leaders with indirect leadership within the area of responsibility. HRBP secure the competence and leadership direction is implemented and anchored within the area of responsibility. HRBP map the current competence and future needs, analyze potential competence gaps and secure the competence development and flow based on current and future needs with the total IKEA in mind. * Being a role model for IKEA Culture & Values and by that secure legal, ethical and moral perspective in people management and leadership situations. * Support the Leaders in the recruitment processes within the area of responsibility. * Coach Leaders to achieve business and people goals. * Drive and support changes on both business and organizational levels. * Ensure HR-related compliance with relevant internal and external regulations. * Develop, update, implement, help enforce and assess company standards, guidelines, working methods and different internal policies within own area of expertise in the following HR fields: compensation and benefits, labor law, co-worker relations, leave of absences and Worker compensation processes, mobility and relocation, personnel administration, internal and external audit. * Support and challenge Leaders to optimize organizational and/or team structure based on strategic objectives, to meet long term business and people goals within the area of responsibility. * Contribute to secure a safe and healthy working environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality. * Expert advisory and facilitator within own area of expertise in the HR fields: compensation and benefits, labor law, co-worker relations, leave of absences and Worker compensation processes, mobility and relocation, personnel administration, internal and external audit. * Member in the Transport HR matrix and contribute to different HR development projects within the area of responsibility. * Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur. * 3-5 years Human resources experience including 2- 4 years Human Resource management experience, preferably in retail, services and/or a distribution environment * Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources; or Associate's Degree and/or HR Certificate or similar * SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred * Coaching experience at both co-worker and Leaders level * Strong recruitment experience from co-worker to Leadership roles * Experience in facilitating workshops and leadership groups - understanding team dynamics and relationships * Proven strong leadership abilities * Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislation regarding personnel and labor laws * Knowledge of local labor market in order to support innovative methods of meeting and/or exceeding business priorities * Computer aptitude - previous experience with Microsoft applications * Ability to work varied hours/days as needed by the location * Travel: Domestic travel to service office or other area if needed
