This position will directly support AHC's Outpatient and Physician Services (Imaging, Urgent Care, Adventist Medical Group, and Clinical Integration Services). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting required. Masters degree preferred. Ten to twelve years finance management required. Healthcare experience preferred but not required. Position reports to the AVP of Finance - Outpatient and Physician Services.

Responsibilities:


  • Supports the financial operations for Outpatient and Physician Services (Imaging, Urgent Care, Adventist Medical Group, and Clinical Integration Services)
  • Work with and on behalf of the entity fiscal leader to advise and support leadership in all operational matters from a financial perspective.
  • Lead in the development of and compliance with financial plans and budgets.
  • Manages and/or leads finance staff.
  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, proformas and presentations.
  • Explore opportunities to improve business practices and performance across the entity that support organizational mission and goals.
  • Develop and monitor cost control tools and iniatives for all areas.
  • Work with AHC leadership and hospital executives in the development of business proformas for potential new ventures.
  • Explore needs, establish and implement long and short term objectives that are consistent with the organization's mission, vision, values and goals.
  • Work as an intermediary between outpatient & physician services and all Support Center Departments as needed.
  • Lead the management and execution of the annual operating and capital budget process.
  • Participate in a variety of meetings or committees.
  • Develops and implements departmental and interdepartmental performance improvement activities.
  • Participates in Leadership activities across the hospital and within the Financial Services group.

Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health related field required
  • CPA, MBA or other advanced master's degree preferred
  • 10-12 years financial management required, healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP rules and procedures
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills; Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage financial budgets and planning at an entity level
  • Ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
