Primary Purpose

The Systems Analyst will primarily support Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time and Expense, Costpoint Analytics, ADP PayForce and Reports, Cognos financial reports, as well as other systems as assigned. Administration duties include assisting with configuration design, user security design and maintenance, SQL queries, updating accounting and project structural elements, issue analysis and resolution, report dashboard configuration, and report writing.

Responsibilities

    Work with project teams and our software partners as assigned Ensure ongoing functional support of ERP cloud environments, including data fixes and issue tracking Support end users performing accounting, project, human capital, proposal, budget, contract, and reporting functions Assist in process improvement and new feature investigation, implementation and testing Assist with user training and create process and procedural documentation Offer friendly, timely and succinct service/support to internal user community Support existing Cognos reports embedded in ERP system, as well as design and create new ERP reports as required by the business Understand the underlying ERP database and the relationship between various datasets across multiple systems Undertake IT project assignments, e.g. ERP enhancements, new software implementations. Establish internal task priorities. Answer adhoc requests for information on short timelines. Report progress to management. Advise project team members on data limitations and system constraints. Provide timely reports as determine by management. Support technical upgrades or patches through testing and troubleshooting prior to applying system changes Ensures overall data integrity by performing data validation tasks and maintaining key internal control processes and reconciliations Assist as needed with external and internal audits Troubleshoot user issues and coordinating with vendor support Coordinate among groups for cross functional enhancements or issue resolution
Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5 years’ relevant experience in a business IT environment Experience designing configuration and supporting integrated business IT solutions Ability to support various on-premise and cloud-based solutions Ability to understand complex business requirements, design solutions within existing systems, and implement Ability to understand relational databases and the relationship between various datasets Ability to design and drive the integration of multiple systems and support existing integrations Experience with Deltek’s Costpoint Experience writing reports using Cognos Strong customer service and support skills Strong English written and oral communication skills Ability to solve problems with many variables and offer various options for resolution Ability to organize and prioritize personal tasks to meet deadlines and service level objectives
