- Join the Talent Development Center of Excellence to serve as a consultant and strategic talent partner to senior leaders in the Defense Division.- Assess and identify development specific gaps within the Defense Division population and define specific interventions that will positively impact employees at all levels.- Work with the broader Talent Strategist team to identify synergies between all GDIT divisions and develop enterprise-level solutions to tackle common talent challenges.- Act as liaison between employees, leaders and Centers of Excellence (COE), including Culture and Engagement, Talent Mobility and Total Rewards.- Create strategies and talent roadmaps for the employee population, and effectively communicate newly developed talent related programs.- Provide guidance and training to managers and supervisors on relevant learning channels available.- Communicate talent development metrics results to the business and track learning progress for accountability, results and creation of talent interventions.- Collaborate with other COEs and HR Business Partners on strategic talent initiatives, processes and programs.- Must be results oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation and agility.- Excellent analytic, consultative and problem solving skills with the ability to take a thoughtful data driven approach to addressing challenges.- Act as a natural advisor and foster relationships with all levels of the organization to help employees achieve their development goals and aspirations.- Maintain current knowledge of relevant human resources and talent development practices.- Travel to company locations and client sites may be required.- Participate in special projects as required.8-10 years of related human resources experience.For more than 50 years, General Dynamics Information Technology has served as a trusted provider of information technology, systems engineering, training and professional services to customers across federal, state, and local governments, and in the commercial sector.
