Research Device Assembler and Tester (Part-Time)

The Research Device Assembler and Tester will support manufacturing and support activities of research-oriented devices including, device assembly, calibrating, testing, and shipping to clients.
Assemble, calibrate, test, and ship Windows/Intel-based research devices
Organize and maintain parts inventory comprised of compact PC components such as computer housings, displays, micro-routers, and peripheral connectors
Provide timely and professional support for existing and prospective clients
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent work experience
Excellent customer service skills, ability to display superior telephone etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with internal staff and outside clients
Previous experience assembling and troubleshooting Windows/Intel-based computers desirable
Previous telephone and customer service experience preferred
