Job Purpose

Provide telephonic support to the Needs Assessment Center by triaging telephone calls, scheduling appointments and providing resources to callers. The position works with patients, families, providers, clinical and non-clinical staff to coordinate the patient's experience throughout the process of accessing mental healthcare at Adventist Behavioral Health and Wellness Services.

Job Description:

•\tReceives all incoming phone calls and o line inquiries from persons and providers requesting acute and outpatient clinical services.
•\tMaintain an accurate census in the office to advise referral sources of the bed availability across the division.
•\tSchedule clinical evaluations and document when appointments are kept or missed.
•\tAccurately maintain call tracking database.
•\tMaintain a high level of world class customer service/professionalism to a wide range of customers.
•\tAdditional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

•\tPreferred Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, human services, or any closely related field. High school or GED is acceptable.
•\tAt least one year of customer service and telephonic experience
•\tStellar customer service skills - and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time
•\tStrong ability to communicate information in an effective and empathetic manner
•\tAbility to use phone and computer systems
•\tExcellent oral and written communication skills
•\tStrong listening/comprehension skills
