Oversees Marymount Student Counseling Services (SCS) outreach programming and services to students, staff, faculty, and the community. Assesses populations of need on campus and delivers creative and inclusively-minded primary and secondary outreach interventions. Provides Marymount students with counseling services including evaluations and intakes, individual/group therapy, crisis intervention, and consultation to the Marymount community. Involvement in supervision and training of graduate trainees.
Education: Masterâ€™s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work or related discipline.
Experience: 2 years of related outreach and/or counseling experience, preferably at a college counseling center.
Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia.
Special knowledge: Skills in crisis intervention, outreach, presenting information, and training.
Ability to communicate effectively, strong interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for collaboration.
