  • Meet design, function, and quality goals as set by product stakeholders 
  • Prioritize enhancement requests and develop product strategy and road-maps
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the integration life-cycle 
  • Analyze development workflows 
  • Monitor the team's capability, capacity, progress, and delivery 
  • Manage the hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management 
  • Apply technical, architectural and process expertise to support development teams in delivering high-quality solutions 
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional divisional teams to ensure product launch success
  • Promote and drive Agile development methodology throughout the work and teams 
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to issues that may arise
  • Create documentation for current and future state functionality 
  • Make suggestions for continuous improvement of internal processes and document improvements 
  • Manage team for deadlines to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget and goals 
  • Attend bi-monthly, quarterly, and annual company meetings 
  • Submit weekly time-sheets in accordance with the time entry policy 
  • May be asked to perform other duties not listed in this job description as required by business needs

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, but prefers an advanced degree
  • Position requires 8+ years of managing the full life-cycle of a product 
  • Position requires 3+ years of experience managing software development teams 
  • Position requires the ability to build high-performing teams 
  • Position requires strong understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript (e.g. React.js, Node.js, D3.js)
  • Position requires understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and MS SQL 
  • Position requires familiarity with AWS custom map applications, data visualization software, and user interface 
  • Position requires experience working with Agile/Scrum 
  • Position requires experience effectively managing projects in a professional services environment, PMP preferred 
  • Position requires skills to debug and understand large java and SQL code base
  • Position requires the ability to gather requirements and produce an accurate code and/or product 
  • Position requires the ability to build a quality, and maintainable product
