Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of this position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience scheduling and coordinating both routine and complex meetings involving a large number of participants from both inside and outside the government.
- Experience preparing correspondence, reports, briefings, graphs, tables, annotated agendas, and other written materials for senior level officials.
- Experience scheduling and managing domestic and international travel plans and travel vouchers for executive level principals as well as other parties travelling with them.
Note: Individuals may be required to take a typing exam.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs) and other characteristics that are relevant to the duties of this position and must be fully supported by information in your resume:
- Ability to plan and organize work.

- Knowledge of computer software / programs to track work for the office.
- Ability to conduct inquiries or searches to obtain information.
- Skill in conducting research to obtain information from libraries, laws, regulations and procedures.
