•\tMaster's Degree; in Special Education/Education or Administration. (Preferred)
•\tMSDE (APC) certified Elementary School Teacher - special education
•\tKnowledge of Maryland College and Career Readiness Curriculum.
•\tKnowledge or human growth/development of young children.
•\tExtensive knowledge of classroom management.
•\tExtensive knowledge of elementary school curriculum used with children with special needs.
•\tKnowledge of Response to Intervention practices.

Experience preferred
•\tMinimum or (4) years elementary school teaching experience.
•\tExperience working with special needs students in a nonpublic school setting

Skills and Abilities:
•\tAble to handle multiple tasks independently.
•\tStrong people oriented and team skills.
•\tAble to problem solve
•\tManage conflict resolution effectively
•\tWork effectively with the various school district representatives
