The Contract Analyst plays an integral role in the Contract Management group for Adventist Healthcare and is responsible for providing analytical and project management support for the contracts management team. The contract analyst will be responsible for identifying cost savings opportunities in medical and surgical supplies to help reduce overall costs for Adventist Healthcare. The individual will strive to meet the realized saving goals. The contract analyst will work towards increasing contract compliance and will be responsible for maintenance of contracts in the contracts management system. He/She will also assist the contracts manager and department director in managing special projects outside the routine duties.

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering Management / Business Administration/ Finance / Economics / Statistics preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in supply chain management is preferred; experience in healthcare supply chain is a plus. Relevant education may substitute for experience requirement.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand the clinical products in the supply chain.
• Certifications in the field of supply chain are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Ability to quickly learn ERP system and other software tools is a must. Experience in
PeopleSoft, GHX, Premier tools is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of clinical products and services is a plus.

Working Conditions
Works at PC involving focused concentration.

•\tAnalyze and evaluate supply spend on different product categories to identify contracting and cost saving opportunities. Facilitate and manage reduction of non-contract spend, product standardization, local contract negotiation and others as appropriate. Use all available resources including internal and external benchmarks to maximize performance.
•\tAssist in preparation and maintenance of contracts in PeopleSoft and other systems. Also, coordinate and manage implementation of contracts by clear communication with vendors, clinicians and internal materiel management staff.
•\tSupport the entity supply management action teams with product analysis as required.
•\tMonitor savings opportunities identified and track realized savings on a periodic basis with the target saving goals for the year.
•\tPrepare presentations, executive summaries and other documentation to outline savings opportunities for entity clinicians and executives.
•\tManage the various supply chain reports and dashboards to track savings, opportunities and spend across the system.

Work Schedule: Day shift - 8am-5pm (including breaks)
