Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a motivated individual to join our fast-paced corporate contracts group.  The individual will be working with a senior contract administrator in the following areas: administering Federal, state, commercial contracts, and subcontracts. 

Job Responsibilities:

· Reviewing and negotiating contracts and modifications. · Analysis of contract status, billing, payment and performance. · Researching and resolving complex contractual issues. · Translating compliance requirements to study directors. · Draft and monitor subcontract and vendor agreements. · Supporting client audits and site-visits.
Basic Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business administration and 3 years of experience is required.
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. You must have strong communication skills, be detail oriented, able to multitask, have a strong aptitude for numbers and be comfortable with Excel spreadsheets.  Knowledge of contract legal requirements, contract principles, terminology, practices and procedures are highly desirable.
