A site development company located in Bristow, Virginia has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller. Responsibilities include preparing monthly journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliation, assist AP, payroll, and other accounting functions for timeliness/efficiencies, preparation of monthly sales tax filings, and assist with monthly contract/job billings.
Individual must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and experience in construction job cost software a plus. 3-5 years accounting experience preferred. Individual must also have strong organizational and communication skills as well as possess the ability to work independently in a small office environment.
