The Ford Agency seeks an experienced Writer/Project Manager to join a regulatory affairs team of a dynamic financial organization in DC. Supporting the organization’s greater regulatory needs, the Writer/Project Manager will lead and manage the formulation and publication of a white paper regarding banking regulations. As a temporary position, the role will conclude after the full development and publication cycle - up to a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity for technical writers and project managers seeking exposure to banking and financial policy.


  • Manages and supervises the full document/product development lifecycle
  • Comprehensively develop, draft, and publish the organization’s stakeholder awareness document
  • Conduct focus groups and interviews with subject matter experts for advisement and information gathering purposes


  • Bachelor’s Degree and demonstrated experience in municipal or federal regulatory affairs
  • Advanced technical writing skills, experience and demonstrated aptitude required
  • Agile project management, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Ability to succeed in a deadline driven, project based environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and keen attention to detail are a plus
