The Ford Agency is seeking a Director of Development to join a health and science focused non-profit. The Director will play an essential role in creating and implement campaigns, collaborating with the team to develop strategic long-term planning. This is a unique opportunity for a true professional who is looking for a long term commitment to a team of dedicated professionals. Salary to 100K.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop fundraising plans to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Design presentations for current and prospective donors
  • Build and maintain donor relationships with corporations, foundations and private prospects
  • Oversee timelines for fundraising campaigns and plan fundraising events

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate degree, preferred
  • 8+ years of fundraising experience in a non-profit, education or foundation setting
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience ideal, but not required
  • Advanced skills with fundraising software
  • Professional communication skills
