.FP&A Analyst - Corporate Supply ChainHerndon, VA My client is one of the largest distributors of complementary building products in North America with over 550 locations in US and Canada provinces and more than 8,500 employees.Publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock market , they are a FORTUNE 500 company. currently seeking an FP&A Analyst based out of one of their VA offices. This position will report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.Job purpose This critical role on the Corporate FP&A team will own the Supply Chain's monthly reporting package, lead the annual budgeting process, and manage the quarterly forecast. He/she will collaborate with the divisional FP&A teams to understand the drivers of the Supply Chain's performance and to improve the quality of the field's financial analysis. This role will also interact directly with members of the Corporate Executive team and support their various ad-hoc requests and projects.Duties and responsibilitiesMonthly Reporting Prepare both the monthly reporting package for the Supply Chain and generate the supplementary reports requested by the CSCO and key staffSupport the CSCO with critical analysis and reporting for the quarterly earnings call, bi-monthly CEC meetings, annual strategy and organizational planning processesPrepare various other recurring reports and presentations including the Allied Synergy tracking, Strategic Deployment Bowler Charts, consolidation of action plans for weekly SDP meetingAssist key supply chain leaders in developing the following scorecards: Logistics & Fleet, Procurement, Indirect with Diagonal, Inventory Turns and $s, Budgets, etc.Analyze & evaluate highly complex financial data for the purpose of understanding the drivers of financial performance and identifying areas of improvementBudget & Forecast Coordinate and lead the Supply Chain's annual budget process across all Divisions and Corporate functions; tasks will include establishing a realistic end-to-end calendar, publishing timely Corporate guidance, and providing the appropriate balance of systematic tools and off-line templates to ensure an effective process to develop the budget and load the inputs into Prophix and Mincron (ERP)Engage with the divisional FP&A teams to understand the pain points in the existing process in order to implement process improvements for the upcoming year's processCollaborate with the divisional FP&A teams to improve the quarterly forecasting process Other/Ad-Hoc Serve as a subject-matter expert and system administrator for the Supply Chain's financial reporting tool (Prophix)Serve as a subject-matter expert and system administrator for the Supply Chain' Tableau pages and reportsProvide ad-hoc support for members of the Corporate Executive teamParticipate in special projects for the Corporate Executive team as initiatives are identified.Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred5 years of experience working in financial planning & analysisProficiency with Microsoft Office products (ie Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required; an advanced understand of Excel is preferredStrong executive presence and the ability to be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization is requiredDemonstrated success working in a demanding, high-performance working environment with a team-oriented cultureAbility to be a collaborate business partner and cultivate strong cross-functional relationshipsStrong critical thinking skills with experience in anticipating management's potential questions and next stepsDemonstrate a high-level of attention to detailProactive self-starter and independent workerAbility to analyze large volumes of data, summarize in a clear and concise manner, and provide insightful analysis and commentary for senior managementExperience with or the ability to quickly learn systems and applications, including Prophix, Cognos, Tableau, Mincron, and SalesforceAbility to identify potential issues and implement process improvement solutions to mitigate the Supply Chain's risksUp to 20% travel may be requiredPlease send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resume] to apply or call 703-885-5591
