EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - TEMP-TO-HIRE

Northern Virginia non-profit (metro-accessible) seeks an Executive Assistant to support their CEO and Board of Directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

>General administrative assistance

>Complex travel arrangements

>Communicating with and supporting the Board of Directors and outside stakeholders

>Database maintenance

>Management of all executive office meeting logistics (e.g. meals, travel, conference room reservations, off-site meeting location reservations, etc.)

>Expense and travel reimbursement

>Research and analysis

>Paper and electronic file maintenance

>Other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

>Bachelor’s degree

>At least six (6) years of experience with complex scheduling and special assistance to executive-level staff in a fast-paced professional organization

>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

>Discretion and judgment

>Excellent oral / written communication and organizational skills

>Strong work ethic and attention to detail

>Ability to multi-task and prioritize

>Flexibility to work beyond the normal work day as well as on weekends as needed
