We are seeking a Chief Engineer to support the formation of a new Raytheon venture that is focused on bringing converged Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity services and solutions to market, with a focus on the Oil & Gas Industry and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security in high consequence environments. The selected individual will shape strategy and provide leadership, mentorship, and training for the company's technical organization. The ideal applicant will have leadership experience in a technology or cybersecurity start-up environment, experience in large enterprise information technology system implementation and operations, and exposure to energy sector and industrial process operational technologies. This role requires an organized and creative mindset to find innovative solutions to difficult problems. Key responsibilities include: * Providing leadership, technical vision, and innovation for a fast growing, multinational cybersecurity business that is focused on protecting critical infrastructure in both the IT and OT realms * Leading innovation in all technology services relating to both the company products and services and internal operations * Identifying opportunities and risks for delivering the company's services, including the identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success * Establishing sound technical frameworks for software development, infrastructure, data acquisition, information security, and technical risk management * Own and Maintain the Technology Roadmap for the venture * Own and Manage R&D for the venture * Be very familiar with Raytheon Capabilities and integrate them into Client Solutions * Extremely familiar with Internet of Things, Industrial Control Systems, and Operational Technology * Demonstrated technical leadership such as having been Chief Engineer on large programs; Chief Architect; Chief Technology Officer; etc. * Self-motivated, resourceful, capable of acting independently, proficient at team building, and possessing good time management * Demonstrated advanced experience with computer networking, operating systems, security architecture, risk and vulnerability management, current threats and attack trends * Demonstrate competency in multiple security tools and platforms * Critical thinking and problem solving skills with an demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, communicate, and mitigate risks * Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills and negotiation skills * Experience in preparing and presenting management level briefings, summary explanations, trade studies, and cost benefit analyses * Experience in emerging cybersecurity technologies, IT and OT security operational experience, and assessment of information assurance and interoperability * Experience in developing solutions, designing, configuring, and delivering COTS software and cybersecurity solutions in support of enterprise security solutions * Experience establishing and maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including customers, end users, and other peer groups * Ability to travel (up to 30%) including short-term international travel assignments Desired/Preferred Skills: * Understanding of Middle East Culture * Familiarity with Oil and Gas industry and cyber risks Education: * Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering with 10-12 years of experience in IT and 6+ years in Cybersecurity, or equivalent education and experience; non-STEM degrees will be considered when combined with relevant consulting, IT, or cybersecurity industry experience * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
