The Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL) focuses on research in revolutionary information technology concepts including classified research and development. ACL is ATL's center of excellence for independent and contract research and development for the classified and intelligence communities. ACL nurtures this growth by meeting the very specialized technology goals and security requirements of our classified customers while providing an environment wherein our technical talent can flourish beyond the leading edge. ACL engineers and scientists are integral to defining, researching, and developing basic and applied solutions with a strong emphasis on demonstrable prototypes which lead to the early deployment of new technology. ACL is seeking passionate and talented engineers and scientists who are interested in researching and prototyping innovative ideas in one or more of the following areas: * OS/Network/Application security and evaluation improvements * OS/Network/Application secure design principles and development techniques * OS/Network/Application vulnerability assessments * Information operations - Tactics and Technologies * Reverse engineering techniques and tools Candidates should be self motivated and strong in the execution of research and prototype development, capable of technical contributions on proposals to external government research and development funding organizations and presentation of research results and prototypes to internal entities. Candidates will support R&D efforts on currently executing programs and internal research projects. Qualified candidates may work on exciting technologies including: * Application of information retrieval techniques to malware classification * Development on automated software testing frameworks for large scale security-critical software testing * Low-level firmware/software development pushing the bounds of the originally specified intent of the hardware/software * Empirical evaluation of a broad spectrum of networking technologies under adverse conditions Basic Qualifications * BS degree in technical disciplines such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Security; * Strong problem solving and debugging skills * Strong system performance analysis and testing skills * Strong teamwork skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Emphasis on research-level software and prototype development * Perform well under aggressive program technical challenges and goals * Applicants must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance which requires US citizenship. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Desired skills * Strong programming skills in C, C++, Assembly, and Python * Experience in reverse engineering tools and techniques. * Experience with cyber/computer network operations. * Applicant can be based at a facility in Arlington, VA or Cherry Hill, NJ.
