Come join us - you will love it!The Strategic Solution Consultant, Global Products SME is an internal and external facing role that leverages industry expertise in order to grow sales of Sterling's products and services, increase existing client engagement and consult on product development. The specialist articulates industry vision and trends, and provides industry knowledge to marketing and sales activities., Industry Expertise: * Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of trends, directions, and key issues within the global screening arena, with emphasis on compliance requirements around hiring. * Maintain and develop industry and partner contacts through participation in events, conferences and networking. * Maintain specific knowledge of capabilities of Sterling's products, solutions and services and how they apply to industry-specific opportunities. * Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of broader industry applications and solutions. * Develop regulatory matrix based on global screening requirements that will help sales team and account management team be consultative Customer-Facing Industry Consulting and Sales Execution: * Assist the Sterling Sales team with prospecting and qualifying opportunities through direct engagement and interaction with targeted accounts. * Engage with existing clients to evaluate current situation and suggest improvements based on current state. * Act as the subject matter expert regarding Sterling's value proposition by engaging with senior executives at prospective customers to describe Sterling solutions value proposition and explain how other similar customers have leveraged Sterling capability to benefit their organization. * Leverage detailed experience in the industry and solution expertise to fully articulate the value of Sterling offerings such that prospective customer will engage in opportunity specific dialogue and projects. * Perform Industry Needs Assessments and attend industry trade shows to create new funnel opportunities and advance existing opportunities. * Provide solutions content for RFP/RFI responses. * Provide industry-specific training to sales and account management teams Industry Consulting - Strategic Planning and Support: * Identify new industry solution opportunities and advise in requirements definition and qualification of new industry solutions. * Provide Marketing with content that can be used in marketing deliverables and campaigns.* 5+ years of experience in the global screening industry . * Experience in global screening compliance/HR strongly preferred. * Strong desire for direct customer engagement and heavy engagement and coaching of Sterling Account Managers and Sales Teams. * Comfortable acting as a subject matter expert during sales calls, speaking engagements, web conferences and oral proposals. * Some travel required, comfortable using webex, video and other systems to deliver our value prop to customers and prospects and to work with our internal teams.* Generous benefits packages only sweeten the experience. * GREAT Paid Time Off with rollover and donations program * Competitive compensation and opportunity for advancement. * Health Club Discount * 401k with MATCH * Company Vacation House * Flexible Work Schedules * Philanthropic Opportunities We are open to hiring for or remote corporate locations in the US.
