Corporate Principal Recruiter
Description: Leidos is seeking a Principal Recruiter to join our Corporate Talent Acquisition team and provide support for functional and Executive positions throughout our organization. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES: Partner with Corporate Functional Departments and Leadership to develop and execute staffing strategies to fill critical functional and Executive needs across the organization Serve as a subject matter expert in attracting and recruiting talent, applying advanced sourcing best practices, translating recruiting concept to practical application to support the business, and demonstrating the ability to flex from strategic to tactical in support of the business Provide strategic expertise on attracting and retaining Executive level candidates within Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal and throughout the Groups Manage the end-to-end full life cycle recruiting process from requisition setup and posting through sourcing and offer acceptance Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition, Line Management and Executive Compensation to create Executive level Incentive offer packages Adhere to all relevant tracking and compliance requirements utilizing Taleo, Workday and internal systems Consult with internal customers on market trends, competitive intelligence, and prepare the business for current and future market dynamics related to the acquisition of talent Provide recruiting support across multiple programs and departments in various locations across the US Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers and staff Participate in frequent brain-storming sessions re: cool hiring events and innovative recruitment campaigns to ensure that candidates understand exactly what the Leidos brand (big company, small company feel) is all about Maintain our applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing Provide Corporate Talent Acquisition support for projects and programs on an as needed basis The ideal candidate will be located in the Northern Virginia area, with the ability to meet with leadership in Reston as needed. Qualifications: BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and 12+ years staffing experience, with 7+ years in a similar Talent Acquisition role supporting Corporate Executive level positions. (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree) 5+ years of demonstrated experience in consulting to senior leadership 5+ year track record of standing up staffing solutions for new and existing markets and future business activities Extensive experience and subject matter expertise in how to differentiate recruitment solutions for Executive level positions Experienced in building, cultivating and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool Success in applying advanced recruiting fundamentals to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment Must be results oriented and have the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Advanced understanding of OFCCP regulations and FLSA compliance ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS: Prior experience supporting Corporate Talent Acquisition initiatives, programs and projects Experience with Workday HCM and ATS preferred Leidos Overview: Leidos is a global science and technology solutions leader working to solve the worlds toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
