A growing, regionally respected healthcare system in the greater Baltimore area currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Manager to oversee a Home Care and Hospice Program. This organization offers inpatient, outpatient and consultative services in palliative, hospice and home care for individuals facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses. They are financially stable and have grown their region/market share over the last few years. This is a family-friendly organization that is helmed by a compassionate leadership team. The Home Care and Hospice Program Manager will oversee, supervise and have overall responsibility for all the clinical staff seeing home-care hospice patients within a designated region. The interdisciplinary team includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers and others that provide community-based care to patients in the home setting. The Home Care and Hospice Program Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with physicians, facilities and other clinicians, ensuring the utmost clinical quality and monitoring the performance of the team. The Home Care and Hospice Program Manager will also be responsible for the ongoing quality improvement of the program, which could include data collection and analysis, development of new quality improvement initiatives and implementation of new processes and procedures. The Home Care and Hospice Program Manager will report to a Nurse Clinical Director and will have much autonomy to develop the team, supervise their work and develop the program. The ideal candidate would have a background in Palliative, Hospice or Homecare Management, either as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Nurse Manager or Director. This position will utilize both clinical skills, as well as strong leadership skills. Creativity and a strong clinical background are all big pluses!
