Must have Real Estate or Property Management Background Primary Responsibilities Maintain the closing processes of the financial systems and the preparation and distribution of financial statements, appropriate internal and external financial reports, and regulatory filingsOversee the preparation of Income and Expense filings for local jurisdictionsMaintain notes receivable and notes payable schedulesPreside over the reconciliation of major accounts including but not limited to prepaid rents, delinquent rents, security deposits, notes payable, notes receivableReview job cost activityPrepare gross potential rent entries for residential propertiesMaintain real estate tax and insurance schedulesPrepare and review monthly journal entriesReview and analyze financial reports and filings, including ensuring that reports and filings are timely and accurate, and that policy and procedure manuals exist for all key financial issuesAssist in the organizational development of Accounting areaSupervise accounting staffAssume other duties and responsibilities as the VP of Finance deems appropriateExcellent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, as described above.
