This is a professional sales position based in Denver, CO focused on prospecting, account management and the business to business sales of installed audio, video and lighting systems. You will be involved in high profile and mission critical projects ranging from corporate boardrooms to command and control centers. Requirements: · Minimum 3-5 year proven track record successfully selling business-to-business as an outside/field sales person · Ability to differentiate yourself, your company and your solution to sell strategic value · Proven track record of developing account plans and penetrating major accounts · Strong ability to close business under terms, conditions and profit margins acceptable to the company · Self-motivated and able to prospect, develop business and meet quota with minimal daily supervision · Self-sufficient with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task · Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and MS Outlook · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Good math skills, including calculation of profit margins Preferences: · Previous experience with audio-video systems including videoconferencing, audio systems and digital signage · Trained and actively practicing in a major sales methodology (eg Professional Selling Skills, Miller Heiman, TAS) · Strong familiarity with customers, time and territory management in the (Denver) market · An existing, verifiable book of audio-video business in the (Denver) market · Experience working in, or selling to the construction industry · InfoComm CTS Certification Key Words: Account Manager, Sales, AV, Audio Video, Videoconferencing, Telepresence, Digital Signage, B2B, B-2-B, Business to Business, Sales Professional, Sound Systems, Audio Systems, Audio Video Contractor Company Description Ford AV designs, installs, rents and services professional sound, video and lighting systems for education, corporate, government, houses of worship, entertainment and sporting venues.
