Director of Marketing and Communications
Mosaic Theater Company is a $2.5M non-profit committed to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access throughout the organization and in all aspects of its programming. Mosaic produces 8 intercultural plays a season and aspires to contribute to the civic dialogue of our City and our Nation through art. Productions are supported by comprehensive and engaging public programming. Embarking on its fourth season at the Atlas Performing Arts Center on H Street NortheastMosaic's diverse Board, Staff, and Fellows are led by Founding Artistic Director Ari Roth, Managing Director/Producer Serge Seiden, and Associate Artistic Director Victoria Murray Baatin. Director of Marketing and Communications: Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the Artistic Director and Managing Director and supervises a Graphic Artist/Publications Manager and a Patron Services Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not be limited to: Develop and implement annual marketing plan outlining strategies, tactics and metrics to ensure the Company reaches season subscription and single ticket sales goals. Develop and implement individual marketing plans for each show, allocating marketing dollars for public relations, publicity, paid advertising, marketing collateral, social media, Goldstar, and other affinity partnerships. Oversee production of print and digital publications including, season brochure, direct mail and e-mail campaigns, posters, postcards, and other collateral materials. Work with graphic designers, printers and mail houses. Develop public relations plan for season and each show, including drafting and distributing press releases, pitching advance story angles, maximizing free calendar listings, providing press kits, videos, and other publicity materials. Tracking and archiving media coverage. Work with Box Office and Front of House Staff of The Atlas Performing Arts Center and Mosaic's Patron Services Manager to curate patron experience. Liaise with with Marketing Committee of the Theater's Board of Trustees. Two years non-profit arts marketing required Experience with Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Patron Manager (or a similar CRM) preferred. Please submit resume, cover letter, and portfolio.
