Our team helps clients prepare for financial close, address compliance regulations, improve process and controls around financial reporting, and implement new accounting requirements.\xa0 Our practice can provide the support organizations need with a comprehensive approach to tackle the most challenging accounting and financial issues that impact risk within an agency environment.\n\xa0\n Qualifications \n \xa0 \nRequired:\n \n \nBachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field \n \n2+ years of experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments \n \n2+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information \n \nKnowledge of \xa0and experience improving Federal accounting and transaction process, internal control objectives and generally accepted accounting principles \n \nKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reporting requirements \n \nExperience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance \n \nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment \n \nProven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives \n \nDemonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience \n \nProficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools \n \nAbility to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role \n\xa0\nPreferred:\n \n \nConsulting experience in any of the following areas: business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, financial system integrations, etc.\xa0 \n \nFamiliarity with U.
