Sr Financial Analyst TS/SCI Poly
Description: Leidos is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide analytical support to a program office for current/future year working budget. This includes preparing initial budget early in the fiscal year, working with Resource Manager, maintaining working budgets for current and previous fiscal years, making changes to the budget as necessary due to budget increases or decreases, unforeseen expenses, etc. Candidate would prepare financial presentation at monthly meetings, quarterly deep dive meetings and would update program office spend plans. Based on latest trend reports, candidate would prepare charts depicting obligation and expense rates for current fiscal year and previous two fiscal years. Prepare graphs depicting obligation and expense rates for current fiscal year including information on CFO expectations, long lead parts and MIPRs, etc. Must have strong understanding of budget analysis and budget exercises. Provide support to contracts one day a week doing contract closeouts, cancelling funds letters, getting necessary documentation from contractors, researching invoice information, inventory of contract files, etc. Conduct ad hoc requests from contracts team. Qualifications: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered. Additionally, must have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent applicable experience, and a minimum of 6-8 years' experience with budget analysis, preparation, execution, working in government accounting systems is a plus. Must have in-depth understanding of Microsoft Excel pivot tables, functions, graphs and charts as well as PowerPoint and Word.
