Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a program supporting computer forensics, cyber analysis and reporting, and support to the mission of the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3), located in Linthicum, Md. Representative examples of the Strategic Systems domain include: Computer Forensics Examiner ~ Cyber Analysis and Reporting ~Malware Reverse Engineer ~ System Administrator/Help Desk ~ Linguistics ~ Project Management Most positions require a US DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI; however, there are some requiring only a DoD Secret. Very few positions require a polygraph. The type of work associated within the various domains will include: Computer Forensics Examiner: Demonstrated experience in the field of digital media forensics Industry standard certification(s) such as: CFCE, EnCE, ACE, GIAC, DoD Forensic tool and script development Demonstrated experience with forensics tools such as EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, and Xways Cyber Analysis and Reporting: Strong technical skills proficiency in the following areas: network communication using TCP/IP protocols, basic system administration, basic understanding of malware (malware communication, installation, malware types), intermediate knowledge of computer network defense operations (proxy, firewall, IDS/IPS, router/switch) and open source information collection. Candidate must have a thorough understanding of Domain Name Service records Strong proficiency and recent experience performing NETFLOW and PCAP analysis using common analysis tools (examples include Wireshark, Splunk, ChopShop, Dshell, Network Miner, Moloch, etc) Candidate must be strongly proficient at sessionizing PCAP data, identifying and decoding protocols, extracting files, and applying standard filters such as Berkley Packet Filter (BPF) Malware Reverse Engineer: Ability to reverse engineer binaries of various types including: x86, x64, C, C++,. NET, and Delphi Strong knowledge of tools used for malware analysis such as debuggers and disassemblers System Administrator/Help Desk: Experience with multiple storage systems (NetApp, 3PAR, and EMC) Understanding NAS and SAN protocols such as CIFS, NFS, iSCSI and FCP Windows server 2008/2012/2016 configuration and administration Linguistics: Candidate must have a strong all-source intelligence or counterintelligence background with 5+ years of experience serving in an analyst or agent role. Pertinent skills or experience include persona development, HUMINT targeting, support to law enforcement or counterintelligence investigations, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection, Social Media/Social Networking analysis. Candidates must have a high proficiency with the Farsi, Mandarin, or Russian language. For non-native speakers, a DLPT (or equivalent test) score of R3/L3 or better within the last 4 years is required. Project Management: Experience using workflow ticket or issue tracking systems Experience tracking metrics and creating/generating reports Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines Work location is at the DC3 facility at Linthicum, MD.
