Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist/Cprp
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist is in constant face-to-face contact with persons served primarily in residential & day program settings. Provide services for persistent and severely mentally ill adult persons who are currently referred to the program by the Core Service Agency. Works as a member of a team and serves as the primary contact for all persons' vocational and rehabilitation assessments and plans. Primary duties: *Provide mental health, substance abuse, vocational, rehabilitative, case coordination, family counseling; *Assist persons served to improve their emotional, mental and functional status in order to improve their ability to live safely, follow treatment protocols, and be a productive member of a community environment. This is to reduce the necessity for hospitalization and incarceration and increase the capacity for independent living. Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Behavioral Science or related field; PLUS *At least one (1) year experience providing services for severely and persistently mentally ill adults .
