Our Great fortune 500 Federal Government Client is actively seeking strong JR-Mid Level Engineers to join their Win10 migration. They have multiple openings for multiple positions. They are seeking qualified logistics specialist along with junior and mid-level Hardware Technicians to deliver new systems, re-image the current Windows 10 compatible systems, and breakdown and return the non-compatible systems in place today. We anticipate that we will deliver up to 350 workstations per month, however the deployment schedule shall vary. If interested, please send resumes to Jordan @ [Click Here to Email Your Resume] Scope of Work to include but not necessarily limited to the following: Following all customer asset management procedures via EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management System), including documenting receipt from the vendor, tracking movement of device to the end-users' location, delivery schedules, acknowledgement of end-user receipt, and tracking return of old equipment to inventory. Backing up user data and profiles from the old workstation to the customers network Unpacking and setting up the laptop and docking station and/or desktop, using asset management procedures as defined by the clients team in compliance with customer requirements Connecting the new workstation to any deskside peripherals, and to the network Setting up new workstation to connect to network assets such as back-up drives and printers Installing any new cabling provided with the new equipment Installing any user unique software that is WIN 10 compatible. Loading user profile and data to the new workstation Confirming all items assigned in ServiceNow to the user are correct Update GO computer name and Citrix computer name Pack-up the old workstation and hard drives for shipping to designated addresses Providing temporary customer support after completion of refresh The new HP workstations will be deployed with Windows 10. All WIN 10 compatible Dell models will be reimaged using a defined SOP Hardware Technician - Junior: Experience: One to three years of experience with Windows 7 and 10 desktop and laptop support; troubleshooting hardware and software issues; replacing hardware on desktops and laptops; and installing software, patches and updates on desktops and laptops. A+ certification desired. Duties: Install, configure, and provide ongoing support for desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Work with vendor-support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software. Ensure that desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems, including file servers. Diagnose and return failed hardware, working with vendors as necessary on RMA's and fixes. Hardware Technician - Mid: Experience: Four to six years of experience with Windows 7 and 10 desktop and laptop support; troubleshooting hardware and software issues; replacing hardware on desktops and laptops; and installing software, patches and updates on desktops and laptops. A+ certification desired. Duties: Install, configure, and provide ongoing support for desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Work with vendor-support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
