As the Accounting Supervisor at Asbury Communities you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and auditing financial statements, supporting all communities under the Asbury umbrella in the review of monthly results, and working closely in preparing board reports for the Asbury Board of Directors. Major Duties include: Timely review and issuance of financial statements on a monthly basis Assisting with annual audit and budget process for the Asbury system Supervises, oversees, and evaluates up to 4 direct reports Analyze & Prepare monthly financial reports and statements Updating and complying with all accounting policies and procedures Support communities and leadership in the review and analysis of monthly results Prepare and analyze board reports Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, public accounting experience required Minimum 2 years in a supervisor role Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field Skills and Abilities: Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Knowledge of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to accounting principles in long-term care Leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other associates Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail Ability to train, mentor, and develop staff High sense of urgency around deadlines while maintaining low anxiety To learn more about Asbury Communities, Inc., please visit us on the web at: www. asbury. org We offer a total compensation package that includes competitive pay and benefits, including a generous paid time off program and other personal and family-friendly programs.
