Our client, a nationally recognized medical group, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager near Columbia MD. POSITION SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Manager will provide leadership and structural process development for Revenue Cycle Management Operations. Ensure timely and accurate completion of case information and any processing regarding patient cases. Through appropriate training and supervision of the RCM staff, the Revenue Cycle Manager will continuously improve upon departmental procedures and meet the operational goals. Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to management as requested. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER (include but not limited to): Provide training, on-going education, and mentor all staff members. Perform annual reviews and performance monitoring. Training must be department wide, scheduled and documented. Encourages employees to improve their skills and to expand their expertise in all facets of the operation. Develop and monitor compliance with policies and procedures for revenue cycle management. Procedures updated at least annually but must be updated whenever a significant change to a process occurs. Monitor productivity of staff members. Clearly communicate the standards of performance and quality expectations to all staff members. Maintain performance reports with weekly, monthly and YTD data. This data is to be at least 50% of the employee review process. Participates in identification, development, and implementation of systems to improve process cycle times and assure timely billing for all charges submitted by providers. Provide training and on-going education for all employees of the department as well as perform annual reviews, recommend merit increases, monitor staffs day-to-day performance and perform coaching and counseling. Establish benchmarks and drive to maximize performance metrics on service levels. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal processing errors. Resolves problems through thorough identification and validation of issues, recommends needed improvements and implements solutions as needed. Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Review audits of tasks and work for accuracy of data entry and provide feedback to staff in a timely and constructive manner. Coordinate and Monitor daily online demographic downloads from provider facilities. Maintains strictest confidentiality and performs other duties as assigned.
