Atlantic Media seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual to join our ranks as an Executive Assistant and Communications Coordinator. Responsibilities include: Serve as gatekeeper and conduit to staff for SVP of Global Communications & External Relations, taking primary responsibility for coordinating schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements; Grow and develop knowledge of the media industry, public relations, and communications; Perform research and some writing; Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, travel coordination, expense filing, telephone coverage, and miscellaneous errands as needed; Prepare and proof press lists, some press releases, presentations, documents, daily press clips, and correspondence. Qualifications include: Outstanding record of achievement in current/past positions Discretion with sensitive material and communication Superior service ethic and grace under pressure Outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management and judgment, and the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment Strong writing and editing skills Entrepreneurial spirit, track record of initiative, high quality and service standard, and ownership of work A nascent interest in media and journalism Atlantic Media Values: Across Atlantic Media, generally, the firm looks for two pillar gifts in its candidates.
