Client Servivces Support Technician
Our client is currently seeking a Client Services Technician to support the BGE Endusers. The technician will be responsible for imaging and deploying new hardware to end users within the refresh scope. Qualified candidates will be responsible for a minimum 20 refreshes per week. We need someone who has good people skills because they will be talking to everyone. This person must also be detail oriented because paperwork for each PC is delivered and must be tracked. This person must have technical to understand HW/SW. No networking or programming knowledge necessary. This is a deployment related role. Navigate through asset management system which they will update from cradle to grave. Refresh hardware including laptops and desktops in a corporate environment. Provide a high level of customer service. Coordinate with various application teams in order to install nonstandard software. Installation and activation of broadband cards for refreshed laptops. Work closely with end users to provide timely solutions to technical problems Provide basic operating system support as well as standard and proprietary application support for end users that are receiving refreshed hardware. Perform quality assurance testing to ensure end users are able to continue working as normal post refresh. Tracking of equipment through an asset management system. Update team SharePoint site in order to track all assets. Recover hardware and discard as needed.
