GDT is currently looking to bring on a NOC Tech Lead at a location in Virginia. Military experience is preffered (see the end of job description for details). GDT is looking for someone with Leadership eperience and must have US secret clearance. As the NOC Operations Shift Lead, you will be responsible for leading a shift team in a Network Operations Center, providing network and systems monitoring and administration for a global implementation of Microsoft UC Services (Skype for Business). The team manages a highly-virtualized infrastructure across multiple commercial and government data centers. The team is responsible for all server, storage, backup, telecommunications, network, and Skype for Business application systems. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, possess strong ITIL knowledge, have great interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy leading a team and mentoring personal growth. They will also have supervisory experience, experience in the federal/military IT industries, and have basic knowledge of IT security best practices. Swing and Night Shift Position Open 2-10PM and 10PM-6AM shifts. Basic Requirements: Hold at least a US Secret Clearance Meet IAT I or II Certification requirements Security+ Certification required 2-3 years of related experience in a Security Operations Center capacity OR 5+ years' experience with system administration with any of the following: Microsoft (Windows Server, Hyper-V, SCOM, SCCM, Skype for Business, Active Directory) HP 3Par Storage HP Servers Cisco Networking Equipment (Nexus, Catalyst) VMWare (VSphere, ESXi, Horizon View) Redhat Enterprise Linux Previous experience on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC), Cyber Defense Team (CDT), or a Security Operations Center (SOC) Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability management and Federal/Military security protocols.
