IT System Management Capability Lead

Key Role:
Lead a team of developers and IT System Management (ITSM) experts for large-scale system management implementations. Gather user requirements, translate them to technical tasks, and coordinate a technical solution to meet the user requirements while having the strategic vision to lay out a way ahead for both business and tactical ITSM. Lead the implementation, operational sustainment, and continual improvement of ITSM capabilities to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to Army clients and end users. Research, develop, and recommend solutions to integrate people, processes, and technologies to improve ITSM operations and Cybersecurity posture. Provide expert-level analyst and advisory services, including advanced-level process automation leveraging industry best-in-class ITSM tools and enterprise platform solutions, such as BMC Remedy and ServiceNow. Analyze strategy, concept of operations, and tactics, techniques, and procedures development applying DoD, Army, and industry practices, including IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 9001, and the Army Enterprise Service Management (AESM).


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with leading ITIL and ITSM solutions
-Experience with BMC Remedy or ServiceNow

-Experience in software and systems analysis, design, project life cycle methodology, system integration, implementation, and deployment
-Experience in technical writing and documentation
-Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, SAP Business Objects, Structure Query Language (SQL) or Server Management Studio, Transact-SQL programming, and creating stored procedures and views

-Ability to be articulate in communication, both orally and in writing to present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive Service

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with agile, sprint, and scrum methodologies
-Knowledge of Army and DoD ITSM policies, trends, and constraints
-Knowledge of information assurance, authentication, and identity management constraints in the DoD Domain

-MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business
-PMP Certification
