MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required.

Experience

Three (3) years of experience processing HR data or working in an Human Resources department.

Certification/Licensure

None.

PREFERRED

Education

Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Shared Services Specialist (HRSS) is responsible for daily processing of all HCM self service transactions and other ad hoc requests for position and job-related changes as well as assisting customers with questions and issues via calls, emails, and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Review, analyze, and process all manager self service transactions (position and job data) and employee self service personal data changes, applying HR policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and system rules to ensure data accuracy, quality, and supporting documentation when required.

Complete non-self service position and job changes (e.g. immediate terminations, re-organizations, labor workforce picks), resolve any errors, and escalate to the HRSS Supervisor when transactions cannot be processed as expected.

Respond to inquiries via email and phone regarding transaction processing status, and other related questions.

Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.

Seek feedback, continuously learning and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience.

Provide guidance regarding usage of self service system capabilities.
