Job Description Orlans PC—Foreclosure Attorney—DC Orlans PC has an immediate opening for a full-time DC Barred Attorney. We are a fast- paced law firm representing mortgage lenders and financial institutions in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, District of Columbia, Michigan, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. A successful candidate must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. The attorney will handle all aspects of the Foreclosure process. Successful candidates must possess a DC bar license. Candidates who are barred in VA and/or MD is a plus. Responsibilities: Represent secured creditors, banks, and mortgage services in foreclosure actions/mediations/and evictions Review Foreclosure and Eviction documents Draft various motions and written responses Review and address court and attorney correspondence Interpret laws, legislation or regulations Requirements: Licensed in DC Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to work meticulously to ensure quality of work Ability to manage heavy workloads and projects.
