Job Description Creative Video of Washington, Inc. is seeking a full time account executive to play a critical role in achieving sales goals. As an Account Executive your primary focus will be to develop and cultivate business relationships with production companies, major corporations and meeting and event planners, associations, and non-profit organizations to sell full service audio-visual solutions and services. Candidate MUST be a self-motivator and able to meet required deadlines. Ideal candidate will have experience in the audio-visual service industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Makes a constant effort to find new business Identify and qualify business opportunities Network via social media, trade show associations, and conferences Ability to achieve and or exceed sales quotas Cultivate and convey persuasive sales messages, proposals and presentations Develop future contacts from show prospect lists and show site contracts Cross-sell all internal services and make a constant effort to generate new business Ascertain client requirements, prepare presentation collateral materials and make stand-up presentations where appropriate, along with necessary follow up activities to complete sale Produce and review orders with project managers and personnel Quote prices and credit terms in compliance with company policies and procedures Follow-up and resolve customer complaints and collections when necessary REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-5 + years of proven sales experience in the live event production or hotel AV industry Proven ability to succeed in a sales environment Stellar prospecting and sales skills Must be willing to consistently cold call and solicit new business Compelling negotiation and closing techniques Proven success record in sales utilizing innovative strategic marketing sales techniques and strategies Proven knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated professional presentation skills Must have the ability to travel on occasion EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree Company is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, veteran status or any other protected status.
