We are looking for a person who brings a passion for all aspects of marketing and who is seeking an opportunity to work with a small group that is part of fast-paced, high growth organization. You will have responsibility for overall communications, research-based messaging, marketing, and branding activity for DMGS to increase its visibility. You will work closely with our Strategic Marketing Consultant to refine an overarching strategic marketing plan. This plan leads the development and implementation of DMGS' brand vision, digital strategies, and public relations campaigns to attract the best students, motivate alumni and donors, and to recruit high quality faculty and staff. You will manage internal staff and external agencies in Communications, Reputation Management. Publications, Photographic Services, Web and New Media, and you will collaborate with Conference & Speaker's Services and Outreach, and Admissions & Enrollment Management within DMGS. You will also coordinate marketing and communications produced by other academic units. Works with the Strategic Marketing Consultant to refine the strategic marketing plan in line with market indicators to drive brand visibility, messaging, student recruitment and donor engagement. Plans and oversees the design and production of all marketing, public relations, and advertising products Develops tactical marketing initiatives to drive the overall strategy Oversees critical analysis and identifies and acts upon key insights Manages digital marketing specialists and oversees all site tracking and analytics, providing direction based on trends Reviews/edits ad creative and copy Uses critical thinking skills to solve problems and improve processes Work with key stakeholders to gather and develop content updates for website, promotions, and support Manage implementation of website updates for campaigns and promotions ie landing pages, banners, product updates, support articles Manages internal staff and external agencies in all areas of Marketing and communications Manages budgets and timelines for assigned programs and tactics. Oversee all site tracking and analytics, providing recommendations based on trends. COMPETENCIES Working knowledge of graphic design and print advertising as well as the ability to create print materials Working knowledge of a broad range of digital media for the purposes of overseeing the Digital Marketing Specialist and directing digital campaigns Problem solving, critical thinking and managerial skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to analyze results and strategize new initiatives and tactics based upon data insights Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective working relationships and learn from others SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Manages 1-3 staff at any given time. You will report directly to the Vice President of Advancement and Development. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. TRAVEL No travel is expected for this position. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in a relevant field At least five years of experience in relevant fields (if required, specify relevancy of your experience in your cover letter). PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of the marketing for post-secondary educational institutions preferred International Marketing experience would be additive but not essential ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS None required for this position.
