Responsibilities: Lead the accounting team to produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual period close results Manages and performs traditional general accounting functions/analysis within accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Interface with internal customers to provide business solutions that comply with accounting guidelines and meet business objectives Research, evaluate and document accounting matters (including technical accounting) Lead ad-hoc projects to drive improved financial reporting, improved processes and controls, and adherence to US GAAP Maintain a strong framework of overall financial and internal controls to support a SOX compliant environment Coordinate audit activities between internal teams and external auditors, including detailed management of PBC lists Support tax filings, special projects and workflow process improvements Assist in the development of procedures and provide training to staff, as needed. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Qualifications REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field plus 6+ years of related experience, experience requirement may change depending on the relevant education level and certifications CPA required 3+ years of experience leading monthly and quarterly close activities including coordination among all finance and accounting functions for timely and accurately close out s each month 3+ years of experience managing general ledger operations, including processing, monitoring and tracking general ledger transactions, and preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations 3+ years of experience ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly GAAP financial statements, including account analysis, financial reporting and variance analysis 3+ years of experience developing and managing a team 3+ years of experience using major accounting systems (e. g.
