Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all Electrical Motors and controls. Performs onsite inspection, testing, troubleshooting, perform start-up/commissioning and collect data of low, medium and high voltage (to 12kV) electrical systems, and moderately complex relay calibration and power metering. Performs Static & Dynamic Testing of electric motors Performs Vibration Testing of electric motors and balancing of rotating parts Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting Cable testing Low, Medium and High voltage switch gear and circuit breaker testing Qualifications/Requirements

Associate's Degree from an accredited 2 years technical college in Electrical Power/Technology Prefers a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at least Four (4) years of relevant experience Basic knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and general understanding of safety practices Strong computer skills such as the ability to navigate through testing equipment program screens, MS Word and Excel proficiency Acquires exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving electrical skills and demonstrates professional interpersonal relationship skills and communication Candidate should be willing to learn, do research and able to adapt to new technologies in the electric motor industry
