Systems Security Administrator
Job Description Venio, Inc, is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides our customers with high-quality IT infrastructure optimization, software development, and planning support. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and big-picture thinking Systems Security Administrator at Fort Meade, Maryland, to support a fast-moving software development project that is breaking new ground in the field of data analytics. Tasks: Design, implement, configure, and maintain RHEL 7 servers deployed as virtual machines Coordinate closely with security, cloud infrastructure, network infrastructure, development, operations, and management personnel on security and system issues Audit and report the security status of systems Support and coordinate maintenance, update, and troubleshooting activities Implement and maintain security tools that monitor, audit, and report on system security Review and update technical guides, diagrams, procedures Plan future architectures, topologies, and system configurations Provide technical input on the project's cost, schedule, performance, requirements, and risk Qualifications : IAM Level II certificate, such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, or GSLC 5 years Red Hat Enterprise License systems administration, to include SELinux, in a multi-server architecture Experience with IP networking and firewalls Experience with cloud provisioning of virtual machines Knowledge of DoD security and accreditation policies Preferred Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytic skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments Team player able to positively contribute to a group representing multiple disciplines Experience on a software development project Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
