Overview For a large financial services client, we are seeking a C++ Quant Programmer to work on a 1 year or longer project . This project includes analyzing highly complex bussiness requirements. C++ Quant Programmer will generate technical specifications to design or redisgn complex sofware components and applications. Responsibilities Act as technical resource for testing and analysis efforts. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner. Qualifications Master's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field. 5-7 years experience. Working experience in C++ or Java development required. Proficient in working under Linux environment required. Proficient in shell scripts or at least one of other scripting languages (Perl/Python, etc.) required. Knowledge in quantitative financial analytics preferred. Knowledge in Data Analysis / Data Mining preferred. Hands on working experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end. Familiar with tools like Jira, Jenkins, CVS, Subversion, Git etc..
