USD - The company is one of the largest providers of short-term and long-term health care services in the United States SavaSeniorCare is seeking a Vice President of Business Strategy to drive sales & marking on behalf of our affiliated skilled nursing facilities in the Washington, DC metro market in Maryland. Job Summary: Responsible for assigned market admissions growth. Collaborates with facility, sales, district and division level personnel to problem solve and find solution to market dynamics to achieve targets expectations based on growth. Educates facility, sales team, district and division leadership on areas to improve to drive effective and sustainable results. Responsibilities: Improves the quality and consistency of Business Development Processes. Develops New & Under Developed Referral Sources. Executes adequate and focused sales call activity to generate the necessary admission volume. Improves Admissions from existing Referrals to achieve 70% conversion ratio. Eliminates Avoidable Denials. Establishes relationships with "C" and "D" level Executives for Key MCOs and hospitals. Establishes relationships with CM & DCPs at hospitals. Provides clinical with information on causal factors. Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in sales and marketing within the healthcare industry with proven results in building census. Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant and progressive healthcare leadership experience, preferably in a long-term care setting Experience in directing sales activities and managing multi-facility environments. Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of health care market, healthcare delivery system, referral arrangements, and financial principles. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate work. Familiar with medical terminology. Superior presentation skills - both one-on-one and group. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
